Why can't I build CMake on Centos6 32-bit?

This used to work.
Linux build6.leepfrog.com 2.6.32-642.6.2.el6.i686 #1 SMP Wed Oct 26 06:14:53 UTC 2016 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

The first part of the bootstrap succeeds, and then running the second stage yields this:

It fails with the following output:

CMake will not be able to correctly generate this project.

Robert Maynard
Hi Kent,

We haven't been able to replicate this issue on EL6 32.bit. What exact
